Dr. Zi Rong Xu, MD

Bayhealth Medical Group is pleased to announce the arrival of Radiologist Zi Rong Xu, M.D., who completed training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

"Were thrilled to have Doctor Xu join us at Bayhealth. Dr. Xu has trained in some of the top programs in the nation, and brings additional subspecialty training to our department. By attracting the nations most highly trained radiologists, we will be better able to diagnose ailments for our patients and their physicians," said Bayhealth Diagnostic Imaging Chairman Thomas Vaughan, M.D.

Dr. Xu completed his fellowship in cross sectional Body Imaging at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He served as Chief Resident of Diagnostic Radiology at Cooper University Hospital (University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey) in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. Xu also completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He earned his medical degree from the Temple University School of …Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Xu has also earned a Master of Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, both at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
