Dr. Sara completed a residency in Internal Medicine at University of Illinois at Chicago/Mercy Hospital&Medical center in 2001 and fellowship training in Nephrology at University of Kentucky in 2003. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and has been practicing Nephrology since July 2003. He is also a Fellow at the American Society of Nephrology (FASN) and a Fellow at the American College of Physicians (FACP). He is a member in different national health organizations and a speaker for many pharmaceutical firms. Dr. Sara was recognized and awarded by Medical Societies like the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians for his excellence and dedication to medicine. He has several publications and his research interest is metabolic bone diseases, Dialysis Hemodynamics and anemia of Chronic
Kidney Disease.

Dr. Sara had done incredible job during my critical illness. Not only has he taken great care of my health, but also he is very professional and nice to speak with at every encounter. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming his patient!

I wish I had the option of leaving no stars. Tricks families of patients with months to live into grueling and debilitating dialysis treatments, wasting their precious little time left suffering unnecessarily. Presumably so he can pay off his Lexus. I’ve seen him do this to SEVERAL patients. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR
