I am a patient that he groped and grinder on... be ware protect the ones you love! There is no record because Our Lady of Bellefonte wanted to save face and just asked him to quietly move on to Pikeville Medical Center to which they where made aware of his previous employer and why he moved on and I also was shocked when I was told by the person that took my complaint that it was not the first to make this claim that he was already not employed at the Ashland arthritic center... that’s right everyone felled to protect me from him!

Worst dr ever. Rudest doctor I have ever had

I have seen several doctors over the years, looking for appropriate treatment for my fibromyalgia. When Dr Virk first came to the area and took over my treatment, I was concerned that he would be like all the others I’d seen, save one. I was so wrong to worry! Dr Virk has taken the time I needed with each and every visit, and he really listens and pays attention. He has truly made me feel like my conditions and my comfort with treatment is important to him. All the staff has been warm and friendly and listening to me. I am pleased enough that I recommended him to a friend who needs a rheumatologist.

He takes the time to listen to me and has been helping me alot with my arthritis

I went to the Ashland Arthritis Center for years and had a great rheumatologist. Then, in July 2016, my rheumatologist left the area, so I went several hours away to one of the largest hospital in the state I live in. I was dissatisfied with the doctor that was treating my Wegener's Disease there. I returned to Ashland Arthritis Center in approximately March 2017 and started seeing Dr. Virk. He has provided me excellent care. I am very pleased with my treatment. My illness is very rare and unique and several medical professionals do not know how to treat it. Dr. Virk knows how to treat it. All my lab work is showing improvements in my body. The treatment he is giving me is making me feel better. I would recommend anyone that has arthritis issue to request a referral to his office.

I first seen Dr. Virk in extreme joint pain after being diagnosed with RA. I was scared, in pain and anxious at my outcome. Dr. Virk and his nursing staff were very polite and informative. Dr. Virk explained what the RA was and some reasons why I have it. We went over my entire medical history in detail and I received a physical. By the time I left from my first appointment I was informed and felt completely confident under the care of Dr. Virk. Since then, I can tell a difference in my joints. I can feel that the medication and exercises are working. I feel very confident that my treatment plan is correct and working for me. I like the fact that even though I have to drive over an hour for my care, I can get an appointment around my work schedule.I am very thankful to Dr. Virk and his staff for always remaining professional and informative.

Always professional, very caring, knowledgeable, concerned about patients overall well being. One of the few doctors that doesn't try and solve all problems with pain pills.

A doctor should visit the patient for more than 50 seconds. I'm not joking, first visit with him and he was not in the room for even one minute, blurts out a very grim diagnosis "osteoarthtis..thumbs of 80 year old." If he said anything besides that it was maybe one more sentence, then he ran out of the room. No explanation, treatment options, except he tried to put me on Plaquenil. Which hasn't even been shown to treat Osteoarthritis or anything besides Rhematoid or immune disorders, and has awful side effects. Very poor doctor and he literally has no bedside manner or sympathy, along with no clue on how meds work. I don't even think he is capable of treating someone with a stubbed toe.

Dr. Virk has been very helpful in helping me to cope with RA.
