Dr. Zimu Zheng, MD

Dr. Zheng made me feel unheard. Did not listen to me, rushed out. told she would call me after she got my results, instead she had her nurse write me on her portal. I wrote the dr. on the portal so many times, and she has still yet to answer. I asked her nurse to have her set up a day and time to call and NOTHING! She has an opinion and wont listen to yours.

Cold need a permanently cold as a dead fish,

She is excellent and very knowledgeable. A very dedicated doctor who is extremely concerned about her patients. Helped me greatly. A wonderful person.

Very cold...very highly regarded by trusted Dr. but bedside manner is terrible Never looked at me the whole examination (if you could call it that!) Hold you hostage for another appointment when trying to get refills on prescriptions.

Office staff does not return calls, even for biopsy results.Doctor spent about 5 minutes with me after waiting 8 weeks for an appointment. She decided she could help with out several very expensive tests. I still don't have diagnosis yet 6 months later.

My primary physician referred me to Dr. Zheng. She is very cold, and when you talk to her or she talks to you she doesn't even look at your but just types into her computer. I have COPD and kidney & severe problems w/BP as well as being a diabetic. Despite no improvement w/any of oral meds she refused to consider insulin. Whats more all past 3 hospitalizations she never once bothered to come see me and just relied on hospital service physicians to treat me and then after discharge has her staff call telling me I need to come asap for followup. After 3rd time of being hospitalied and her not showing any interest I decided to go w/hosp.service endocrinologist since he seemed more thorough and had personality and at least had the decency to look at me when speaking and also questioned why I was not on insulin. I told him well its same questions I've been asking. Anyway I would not recommend her to my worst enemy! She is a horrible Dr.

I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly, for a specialist. She and her staff seemed to be asking all the right questions and sent me for the appropriate tests. It helped that I already had an MRI and CT scans for her to look at. I like seeing her, but sometimes she makes me go in for appointments that last less than five minutes, just to tell me results are normal. She won't always call, or have her staff call, to do this.I have always spoke to her staff on the phone, never her directly. They are pretty good at relaying information, but if I have a new, possibly related question, they generally do not know the answer and have to go back to check with the doctor again. They also do not always answer their phones, and do not follow up with patients to remind them of tests. I was supposed to have tests done last year. I forgot and they never notified me so I'm having tests now. Their staff did have a change-over in the past few years, so maybe that's part of the reason.

As a first time patient she rush me out of the office. She didn't ask enough questions about my health history. She only listened to what she wanted to hear. Did not take the time to explain things thoroughly. Would never go back to see her again.

The staff is very courteous and hardworking but good luck actually talking to the doctor. Went to this office with a thyroid issue did a quick exam, doctor is nice but pretty short with you. If I had a question about something I would only speak to the nurse never the doctor directly. Finally receive a diagnosis and the NURSE calls me NOT the doctor. When I ask them what I should do next they have no answers for me, other than i don't need medication but need to come months from now for more testing. Fine, well what do I do in the meantime? Where do I go from here? No answer? Why? Because it wasn't the doctor. I have never had this experience with any other physician.

Doctor Zheng met me after waiting 1n hour. I was very sick and my internist had made an emergency appointment for me. She came in and spent 10 minutes with me and never touched me. She never looked at me she only asked me questions and typed them into her computer. She also had seem me 1 yesr prior to this appointment and was exactly the same except I wasn't as sick as I am now. She also told me I had no family history of thyroid problems when a year earlier I had told her my father had thyroid cancer and they removed his thyroid. When I reminded her of that she said ,"oh then you need more tests" She ordered the tests and sent me to the receptionist. When I asked her when I would see her again she said "No , I'll call you ". She never called me. Needless to say I will not go back.
