Dr. Zinovy Beider, MD

This doctor created problems for me in advance of a surgical procedure. He was flippant, more concerned with flirting with nurses and being on his cell phone than listening to patients, and was cruel to the point that several nurses intervened on my behalf. He couldn’t place my IV and didn’t listen when I attempted to tell him where a better vein was, caused a huge bruise on my hand, and generally didn’t seem like he wanted to be bothered doing his job. The nurses and doctors who witnessed this behavior got him out of the room to let me calm down (his behavior was stressful enough that my BP spiked) and they placed the IV. They also told me he had received complaints several times before for the exact same unprofessional behavior. If you have any choice in anaesthesiologist whatsoever, do not choose him.

After my 77 year old diabetic mom waited without food for 3.5 hours over her appointment time, Dr. Beider very rudely told her that if she doesn't like it she can go home. No doctor should have that freedom to talk to any patient.
