Dr. Zohra Shad, MD

I finally got a diagnosis of a rare medical conduction from Dr. Shad- but she spent less than 5 minutes with me, wrote the diagnosis on her business card and said we will call you in a year. Guess who never got a call? She was incredibly rude took no time to answer my questions or give any medical advice. She did send a letter to my GP and all it said was patient was diagnosed with x, my doctor reached out for more information and could never get a response. Absolutely a terrible doctor.

Excellent Genetics Doctor!

Dr. Shad and her genetic counselor Anne Mcrae are amazing. They take as much time as needed, really listens to everything you have to say, asks lots of questions, takes everything you say seriously. She is the first Dr who has ever listened to me in the state of Illinois, she took me seriously and came to a diagnosis I've been seeking my whole life. She continues working with me and my family as well as referring us to other specialists. She does extensive testing. She is truly amazing and would recommend her to anyone. Very understanding, caring, compassionate and really wants to help her patients.

Dr. Shad is the worst physician I have ever encountered. She treated me like I was an idiot, made a bad diagnosis, and continued to stutter through words the entire visit. The only saving grace in her visit are her staff. The counselor with her at the visit was intelligent, well versed, and competent. I never want to see her again.
