If I could give zero I would! Impossible to make an appointment, impossible to have dr call you back. Staff is inept. They do not (including the dr) read any document you upload. Dr Acosta apparently is overwhelmed with too many patients to provide quality of care. When Dr Acosta was in the Galt Mile office her demeanor was calmer and more caring. Now that she is adjacent to the hospital she is rushed and nothing is seamless. Very disappointed with the level of follow up. The staff Isabela in particular is very nice but clueless. They wanted to schedule me for a test that I already had. The blood work was ordered incorrectly and Quest has tried to reach them for days. Now the blood has to be redrawn. There is no sense of urgency or follow thru. This is really not an office you want if you are not feeling well. You are just an insurance or Medicare copay to them.

We waited two months for my fiancée’s appointment with this doctor, only to have an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with unnecessary hostility. The nurse rudely blocked me from entering the exam room, saying the doctor wanted to see the patient “alone and in private,” without providing any legitimate reason. My fiancée wanted me present for support, yet her wishes were ignored. When the doctor finally entered, she didn’t even know who the patient was—whether it was me or my fiancée. She was immediately rude about my presence. I calmly informed her that under Florida law (Florida Statutes § 381.026(5)(a)), a patient has the right to be accompanied by the person of their choosing during a medical appointment, unless there is a valid safety or health reason, which was not the case here. Instead of respecting the law or the patient’s rights, the doctor responded that it would be “best to sever the relationship.” This is not… only unprofessional and deeply disrespectful—it is also a violation of patient rights under Florida law. Patients deserve compassion, respect, and the legal right to have a support person present during care. After waiting so long to be seen, we left with zero trust in this practice and will never return.

She takes her time and does a thorough physical. Appointment was on time.

Dr. Acosta is very caring, she listens and does not rush. Never a long wait to be seen.

Dr. Acosta is very detailed and interested. She really cares to take the time to solve any issues you have. She is never in any rush and if you do see here realize that she is talking her time with other patients so you may have to wait. She is worth it. I appreciate her greatly and feel I am in excellent hands. Josh E

Her assistant can be abrasive on the phone.Dr Ascots is warm,friendly. She takes time and really listens. The rest of the staff Is very friendly. I over all give 5 stars.

Been with Dr Acosta for more than 10 years and I love her

The Doctors prescription was incorrect and when I and pharmacy called to have it change to proper dose the staff was rude and evasive. The Doctor or her Assistant can never be reached by phone and will not return calls ( left voice mail) since staff is so rude. The answering system says office hours are 9am to 4pm but staff says they are close from 12 to 2Pm. Awful place do not recommend

She truly cares about a persons total wellbeing and spends quality time me (the patient). The staff is genuine and even when Dr Acosta is unavailable, the other physicians are as caring...
