Dr. Zora S Gill, MD

Dr. Gill and his staff provide the best type of care to a patient. They are friendly and attentiveâ??something we rarely see in doctors these days. I went there for a surgery and it was my first surgery, but the staff made sure I understood everything and helped me throughout the process. They are very prompt and not only answered my questions, they, also, called back to remind of follow up appointments. Overall, I am very satisfied with Dr. Gill and his staff's services.

Dr. Gill is very impatient and unprofessional. After having my gall bladder removed I had a bile leak which is a possible complication. Dr. Gill failed to follow up appropriately even after numerous Dr. appts. After two weeks of severe pain I ended up in a local ER being rushed for emergency surgery. Two liters of bile had collected in my abdomen. Dr. Gill failed to listen to me and take my seriously. He only prescribed me anxiety medication and told me to sleep.

I'm sure he is a good surgeon , but in my case when the tuff got going so did he . Five days after my ileostomy take down , the same day I got released from the hospital all my staples broke loose and I was bleeding out , I was rushed to KMC not my choice but it was closer than SJH , the doctors got me stable and called doctor Gill , he got mad and refuse to see . That was two nursing homes three more different hospital stays and finally the doctor at KMC sent me too UCLA . I got the fistula , the hernia , ileostomy take down that he screwed up fixed . He's a bad doctor and I'm not the only one he's dumped
