Dr. Zoraida Fiol-Silva, MD

I was so afraid to go to the eye doctor. I hadn’t done so for 20 years. Then, I went to Dr. Silva and she has been amazing! she ha sheen my eye doctor for 15 years. She listens, takes her time and really cares. I feel like a whole person when I talk with her. She is a blessing. Her staff is great, too.

Horrible staff --, Sophia. Refuses to return calls about insurance issues when my insurance overpaid her, after i paid her in full. Had to beg many times to get her to return a call about my medical issue. Ignored multiple letters from Medicare telling her she had to reimburse me or could be charged with a misdemeanor leading to possible jail time. Would not agree to call the provider hotline for Medicare or cooperate with me in any way, only telling me that she (sophia) doesnt have time, after 6 months of waiting for the money medicare says she owes me. My plan is to sue her as a last resort.

Dr. Silva treats each patient with respect and care. I am not a relaxed patient, but I am getting better, thanks to dr. Silva. She is very professional and warm at the same time. I highly recommend her. Dr. Silva's office is relaxed and calm, with one of the most professional administrative assistants I have ever met.

Dr. Fiol-Silva is an outstanding phyician.She gives a complete and thorough exam. The Dr. will explain everything to you medically then breaking it down so you can understand. The time spent in the waiting room is rather long. This is because she spends the time needed with each patient never hurried.
