Bedside manner is ice cold makes condescending remarks.... Stay away

Zero bedside manner. VERY COLD AND ABRUPT. Checked patient, listened to lungs, said something unintelligible,and abruptly left the room

Was sick and frightened, but I was expecting to get some answers to all I have gone through. First he made a rude remark to my husband. He would not listen to anything I had planned on telling him. I left feeling terrified, stunned, in tears and gasping for breath.

Dr. Ahmad was assigned to me during a recent hospitalization since my principal physician just retired. Much to my pleasant surprise, he turned out not just to be knowledgeable but also caring. He took the time to go through a list of 18 questions I had prepared and answer each. I had received a mis-diagnosis from my previous principal physician. Dr. Ahmad corrected that and my treatment.

Dr. Ahmad is competent and friendly but his office staff is very disorganized and rude. Barb has trouble keeping track of when the appointment is supposed to be, she changed my appointment 3 times in one afternoon. My prescriptions didn't get sent to the pharmacy that evening as they had instructed me they would. I drove 20 minutes out of my way to pick them up only to find out they hadn't been sent yet. My, much needed, first follow-up was scheduled for 5 weeks out and they called one week before to say it needs to be rescheduled an couldn't get in for an additional 2 more weeks. When I explained my concerns to office staff about appointment rescheduling confusion and my medications not being sent promptly she replied, "Oh well. Do you want the new appointment time or not?" I'm an ER nurse and was shocked by the careless attitudes displayed.

Understands the problems very well, and gives the best advice; has a great bedside manner and overall very pleased with our experience. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this MD .
