Dr Zubeena Mateen, MD

Most unprofessional doctor I have ever met. She is patronizing and in no way an advocate for her patients. I would not be surprised if someone's death was directly related to her (lack of) care.

Doctor Mateen showed great care and effort in caring for my father when he was ill. She was always available and would kindly address any questions we had. She took great care of my father and helped rid him of stage 4 colon cancer!

Terrible, Terrible better off getting care from a vet. misdiagniosed, read test results wrong, does not listen to paients at all.If I could rate her with a negative # of stars it would be -10 stars.

Dr. Mateen is patronizing and unwilling to work with the patient .She misdiagnosed an ill executed test that reulted in an over diagnosis and much grief for the patient .She was unwilling to do accepted protocol for this stage of the disease, though she admitted the protocol was medically correct to the patient.She suggested a third line pre-palliative therapy with no intent or effort to cure and no choices for the patient but to walk out .Two nationally known facilities disagreed with her and downstaged the patient and proceeded with proper protocol .The patient was extremely healthy but for the disease and was refused treatment options in a smug and condescending way .The test WAS administered and read wrong upon further investigation elsewhere, though the therapy was medically accurate either way .Avoid this person and the oncology department here at all costs if you respect yourself and value your life .Get a second and third opinion and do your homework .This doctor will NOT try… for you .
