My husband had severe GERD and our doctor referred us to Dr. Bhesania and told us he is a specialist for this disease. Dr. Bhesania did a procedure that cured my husband. He can enjoy nice restaurants again, and sleep normally and does not have to take medications anymore. Dr. Bhesania is a lifesaver. We highly recommend him.

Dr. Bhesania performed a lap band on me 11 years ago. I lost 90 pounds and kept it off. I never had any problems and went regularly for fills. In 2017 I got sick and suspected that my lap band had broken. I was losing fluid every appointment from the band and dieting but gaining weight. He took 11 months before he decided to replace my port -thinking that was the broken part. His incisions were large and rough. My abdomen was covered in glue. The following month there was more leakage and he took two more months to agree the lap band itself was broken. After almost 15 months I was going to get help. I had gained 40 pounds and was experiencing hypoglycemia again. I was a few days before the scheduled surgery when they called and canceled because insurance would only cover another lap band and I was told he didn’t do them anymore. They said bye bye!! The staff at Port Huron (except Kathy)was rude and condescending. The nurse told me to try one of those new diets! I am thankful that… they didn’t have my back with the insurance company because I found the greatest skilled bariatric surgeon with a terrific bedside manor and awesome staff! The new surgeon discovered that my sickness caused a large hernia and my band had prolapsed. I’m three weeks out from surgery and out of pain for the first time in 2 years!!Thank God. Beware, they really don’t care.

I had to have GB removed. Dr. Bhesania performed the procedure. He is an excellent surgeon, who not only made me feel at ease, but the surgery went so well, I was up without any pain or complications within a few short hours. I highly recommend Dr. Bhesania and his staff. What might have been an uncomfortable procedure went without any complications.

Dr Bhesania should not be licensed he is a sloppy surgeon which causes the patients to suffer infection which leads to multiple surgeries , please Do not allow this man to operate on anyone .... my mother had to be transferred to Henry Ford Main because of the mess he caused the extent of her infection was so bad the Drs at HF had to do multiple surgeries cutting away dead norcrotic tissue because Dr Bhesania had cut beyond the blood supply wall , if there was an option for zero stars I would have chosen that for my review.

Dr Bhesania does most of my surgeries he is fantastic Dr I would recommend any of my family to him and have.

Very caring doctor. He took care of my mother who had a bleeding ulcer. He saw her every day for 10 days while she was In the hospital. I think he saved her life.

I went to fulfill my medical study. There was absolutely nothing wrong with me. I was told by staff the visit was covered by the study. He charged me for an office visit and an unnecessary test that I assumed was part of the study. He asked me to come back next month when I asked why he said just to check up? Prior to this visit it took me an entire year to see lap band results because he filled it extremely slow, now I understand it was to keep me coming back to charge my insurance. He is a crook and I feel completely scammed. Now I either pay him or affect my credit. It's unfortunate to know there are doctors like this out there that only see $$$ signs.
