I went to Dr Rather over 2 years ago for back pain. She told me to consider that I just had a baby, take B12, lose some weight and come back in 18 months. I went back, still in pain, she did nothing. I demanded and X-RAY; which I got, it didn’t show anything. She didn’t feel an MRI was necessary. So, I dealt with the pain for another year. Finally my chiropractor ordered an MRI because he was concerned something was wrong. The MRI shows a bulging disc in my lumbar, with sever stress on my spine. A perfectly good reason for my back pain. I knew something was wrong with me. I could feel it. But Dr Rather did not believe me. Her care was terrible. She never followed up. Just terrible. I do believe the stress on my spine do to the bulging disc could have been prevented if Dr Rather would have ordered an MRI when I expressed I was still in pain, even after the XRay showed nothing. Do not go to this doctor.

Terrible unprofessional staff. One staff member had such an attitude with patient waiting in waiting room and then with me. She was yelling in that patient's face. She looked like a magenta raggedy ann. Dr. Rather had a 30 day wait to see her and I got stuck because I needed to see a doctor where we moved that took my insurance. She was a clueless doctor and went round and round about my health and lab needs and I got no diagnosis, treatment or care. I DID get some referrals to local specialists that I needed but then got a new primary. Dr Rather put "rocky mountain spotted fever" for no reason on my doctor referral papers and checkout papers. I don't have it and never did. ??I cannot imagine anyone seeing her and staying a patient there. Unpleasant office staff and dr. who all held up my healthcare to say it politely. I got diagnosed by a real doctor with a serious genetic disorder but would have probably died had I stayed at her practice.
