First off, he misdiagnosed my son with reflux, wouldn’t listen to me when I said that it wasn’t reflux and would investigate his tongue or lip tie. We called a lactation consultant because my son wasn’t gaining weight breastfeeding. Dr Ali swore it was him not eating frequently enough and my milk. We saw a consultant and he has a severe lip and tongue tie. Even after confirming it he STILL tried to say that wasn’t the issue. We got it fixed and my son gained a lb in a week as well as stopped spitting up as bad. I wouldn’t recommend him, you ask questions and voice concerns and he tries to be coy and criticize you, he also was concerned because my sons was really large compared to everything else on his growth chart, well when babies can’t get proper nutrition the first things that take a hit are height and weight. You’d think a doctor would take that into consideration. Here we are with a new doctor four months later and he’s catching up, but thanks to the negligence of dr Ali my son… has a lot of catching up to do.
