Dr. Zulfiqar A. Rajput, MD

I have been going to see Dr, Rajput for 13 years. I thought he was compassionate and listened to what I had to say. A couple of years ago he started bringing in new doctors which was understandable since he has a huge client basis. So that started to frustrate me bc I had a developed a relationship with Dr. Rajput. The past few years he has added different doctors who know nothing about me and it’s frustrating repeated myself every time a different dr would call me. I did mess up but I thought drs were in the business to help me and not mention they took my copay and never filled the rest of script which is shameful. I do struggle with anxiety and at one point I was getting prescribed Xanax by one of his own drs and I played my part too but i was going thru some personal stuff and having panic attacks. I know you aren’t suppose to take the 2 meds together but I was responsible about it. And again with the dr prescribed it to me. I believe the dr had some issues and I can admit that I… probably took advantage of that. She would say have a drink if you are anxious and I said to her I can’t I am alcoholic. I wasn’t taking the Xanax to abuse it in fact I would take my suboxone in the am and wait till 11 pm to take a Xanax to sleep. Anyway I was honest and trying to explain that I was having a hard time. And I did lie bc I couldn’t get myself out of bed and function. I am at fault but I felt they could’ve at least given me some of copay back since $150 is a lot these days. When I went to the office it was like they were ready for a fight and that’s not my nature. My point is whether or not I broke a contract which twice I tested for morphine which is impossible considering that all of my drs know I take suboxone and it’s in my medical report not to give me narcotics. I should have allowed to speak with Dr. Rajput and instead I spoke with a Dr who knows nothing about me and was nasty and wanted to start an argument. I don’t need that in my life I struggle enough. I always treated your staff with respect bc I understood since I had worked in the medical field. You would think being a patient for so long that i would have been treated better. My advise is don’t go there when it was just Dr. Rajput I really benefited now you have drs who have no clue. Dr. Rajput has made over $25,000 seeing me in this past 13 years. It’s all about money which is sad!

Suffering from severe major depression, he is the only psychiatrist that I felt was knowledgeable and able to explain the changes in medication and titration to me. He cares a great deal about his patients although does not seem very expressive. He asks the right questions and has helped me turn my life around. The office staff are busy but a great help when I need my medicine, or to contact the doctor in between appointments. Would recommend dr. Rajput to my family, friends, and anyone with an open mind searching for a great doctor and facility for treatment.

I have been seeing Dr. Rajput for four years and have been very pleased with his attentiveness and responsibility. I feel comfortable and confident in his character and expertise. Office staff can be abrupt and rude, however, and receptionists need some training in phone communication. Hard to understand their mumbling.

The man is cold, rude, and doesn't pay attention at all. Hitler would of had a better bedside manor.

She was as pleasant as chugging sour milk while someone blew a blow horn directly into your ear.

He may be good for mild depression but not major depression. Not happy at all with him, felt very uncomfortable.

Dr Rajput is extremely rude, disrespectful, and does not genuinely care about the patient's wellbeing. His office is like an assembly line, get them in and get them out, he doesn't spend any time talking to the patient. He just looks down at his computer and types away, no eye contact, asks a few questions then gives you a prescription and kicks you out. He typically runs about an hour behind, so be prepared to wait a very long time. He also now hired a PA, who is equally as nasty and has zero compassion. They are all about money, get the patients in and out as quickly as possible to maximize profits. His secretary is also very nasty, and stinks like cigarettes. She also was charging me more than my copay was supposed to be, probably because she was pocketing the extra money that I paid. When I confronted her about it she was frazzled, and made some excuse and said she would look into it. Left the practice and never looked back!

I needed his signature on a surgery that 2 other doctors had signed off on, but he refused, even though I'm at risk for cancer without it.

Awful I call to make an appointment,. Trying to get off the add crap every other Dr gives and I tell I take it she immediately made me feel like I was a drug addict and said we can't take you!! R you joking you can't help out a depressed girl because some other idiot Dr gave that to me .. don't go here the whole place is judgy and terrible

Honestly I would give negative stars if I could. Rajput only saw me for 5 minutes or less and then made a diagnosis. The PA or whatever he is absolutely traumatized me. This was my first psychiatrist and I was already nervous to see one and after confiding my worst fear in him he actually made it come true. Now I’m off all medications and too scared to see a doctor about my conditions. He fed INTO my delusional thoughts which only made them worst and totally invalidated my concerns and feelings. They prescribed meds without even listening to me and they did horrible things to me. I was on a med already and he didn’t properly wean me off and said I should have no withdrawal side effects. They know nothing. Don’t go
