Education and Continuing Education
Dr. Zvi Kennet earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine and attended two years of advanced general dentistry education at the prestigious Eastman Dental Center in the University of Rochester, New York.
He practiced as a general dentist for five years before he decided to specialize in orthodontics. Dr. Kennet attended the University of Manitoba, where he earned both his Certificate in Orthodontics and his Master of Science degree, graduating in 1998.
Dr. Kennet participates in many continuing education courses and constantly incorporates new treatment techniques and technologies into his practice to achieve high quality results with an easier, more comfortable experience for his patients.
Experience
…Dr. Kennet was one of the first dentists in North America to use digital X-rays and his research demonstrated the dramatic reduction in radiation to his patients. His groundbreaking research in the use of lasers to prevent tooth decay was published in leading dental journals and was presented to the American Dental Association. Dr. Kennet constant search for new technological breakthroughs can be seen in his state-of-the-art practice today.
Outside the Office
Dr. Kennet and his wife, Orly, have a young daughter, Romy, who keeps them up-to-date on all the important TV, music, and pop culture events. They also have a dog, Wags, who loves to greet Dr. Kennet when he gets home and helps to keep him in shape. When he has free time, Dr. Kennet enjoys traveling, going to Tigers baseball games, and food — both cooking it and eating it!
