Dr. Zvonimir Milas is confident, compassionate, and straight forward in a kind, gentle manner. He is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered. He took care of my tumow with expert care, and I felt I was in the best hands possible. While I hope I never have to see him again medically, I would trust him beyond measure if another issue arises!

We love Dr. Milas, He has been incredible to us through my husbandâ??s cancer journey. Iâ??m 61 years old and in my entire life I have not found a doctor with the compassion he exhibits equal to his outstanding skill. He is masterful in his field of oncology surgery but he also seems to understand that there is something equally important as physical medicine & care â?? that is emotion care. And I have not seen anyone do it as well as he. I appreciate his collaborative nature of building a team of caring physicians and staff that creates a community of support around you. We were in awe of the way they collaborate with each other without ego just putting the needs of the patient first. We both have had doctors that would evaluate and quickly proceed to cut and god forbid you want to hear about other options less the fangs come out. I love the way you have a tumor board â?? of equally skilled doctors that evaluate the patient and together with your physician offer you a unified plan of… attack. This is most reassuring to the patient and their family. I wish all care at every level was practiced this way. I have a dear friend where this was not the case and it caused her much anxiety. But I thank God we had the good fortune to be referred to Dr. Milas even if it only occurred 3 years into his first diagnosis of cancer (though no fault of you). Only God knows what pain he could have been spared but we are so grateful for the care and compassion we have received in Dr. Milasâ?? care. On behalf of myself, my husband and our family â?? we truly thank you Dr. Milas and pray you well â?? may you continue to mentor others in this most important way of healthcare â?? that is the only way healthcare should be practiced, in my opinion.

You cannot find a more skillful or caring doctor than Dr Milas. He works hard plus puts in long hours providing excellent care. As a patient, I appreciate having a quick and easy recovery because of his skill.

One of the most excellent doctors we've ever seen. I highly recommend him and in fact the entire staff at the Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte NC. A top notch place and everyone from the CEO to the janitor is friendly and compassionate.
