What is HCAHPS?

The HCAHPS survey is administered to a random sample of adult patients across medical conditions between 48 hours and 6 weeks after discharge; the survey isn't restricted to Medicare beneficiaries. I went in for ear impacted by wax that even urgent care and my primary care physician couldn't remove since it's hard as a rock and painful! I've been in pain for weeks and the pressure I'm my ears are causing my eye sight to blur, dizziness, swelling of the throat and lymph nodes and severe migraine throbbing constantly in my temples! No matter where I have gone, I was told I needed to see an ENT doctor. So I called ahead of time and asked if they had one in the ER and they said they have an on call ENT for emergencies. I went there was there for maybe 30 minutes and they told me since it was so hard they couldn't remove it and referring me to the ENT but said one would not come in for this on Saturday. Well sorry my well-being is not of your concern but my quality of life and trust in health care is no longer! You are supposed to treat people with their best interest in mind. I was also told the hospital staff was not equipped with the materials and training to assist with something as simple as removing ear wax. What is that about?! Ever hear of microsuction?! It's called technology and training. How can you perform sensitive surgeries and fix broken limbs but you can't handle removing ear wax or afford an on call ENT skilled to do so?! This is rediculous and if anything happens to worsen my health, I will hold this hospital accountable since I was told that you would have an ENT on call.

MRI experiences March, 2020, and other years prior

My MRI experience has always been good here; the results were expediently available to my oncologist at different hospital for my appointment a week after.

One Star

I was happy with the technician I had that did my MRI on the 6th of November but this is now the 8th of December and my doctor still hasn't received the results from my test because they told her that it could take up to 30ndays for her to receive the. Honestly I think that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of in my life. I will not b returning to this hospital again. I would not recommend anybody that needs a MRI done to have one done at this hospital unless u don't mind waiting for 30 days.
