Shut this place down!

If I could give zero stars I would! Rude staff and when we entered they all stood behind the glass and took over 20min for anyone to acknowledge us. My husband was panicking and they kept yelling at him to calm down. They rolled their eyes and snickered as they watched me throwing up on myself and NOT A SINGLE NURSE OR STAFF came to help or offer a bucket. In fact when my husband went to the window to ask for a bucket they yelled at him to sit down. They are rude and I heard staff making fun of other patients. They let people sit in their own urine for HOURS and don't tend to you when you call out for a nurse. They don’t even have any call buttons in their emergency room so you have no hope of getting help or tended to unless you scream for it. This place should be investigated and honestly shut down for their neglect and unprofessionalism towards patients who need help. Unfortunately I don’t know the area very well to have known not to go there. They make you feel like a burden. I will be taking further action to ensure someone investigates this horrible horrible place!

I came here for surgery after my calcaneus was shattered in a car accident. I had the absolute worst hospital experience of my life! And I've had quite a few surgeries. I didn't even go in with a life threatening condition but I honestly felt like I was going to die there from the horrible treatment and neglect. Looking past how they do not let you sleep at night because they constantly have people coming in to check vitals and to introduce themselves, etc. That's fine. They are doing their job. Once the day shift started it became a ghost town. I saw the nurse maybe twice where she told me she was going to go get the pain and nausea meds I had requested just for her to come back and say that she already gave it to me and it wasn't time yet. She did this twice. I was in so much pain and could not stop throwing up. I kept pressing the call button and someone would say they would contact the nurse yet no one would come. HOURS pass and still no nurse and it got to the point where no one would even answer me anymore, they would just hang up. No one even checked on my wound even though I had made it known that I was bleeding through my bandages and soaking up the pillow under my foot. I had had enough and knew I would be taken better care of at home. I had finally gotten to speak to the surgeon and he cleared me to go around 5pm. These people would not let me leave!!!!!! They said I needed to wait for this person or for that person yet hours would go by and no one would come!! Until I finally got the strength to get up, get dressed, and start walking out with my crutches did somebody come and started asking me "exit questions". I explained to the woman that I had already answered those same questions SEVERAL TIMES to SEVERAL DIFFERENT people. I finally walked out of there around 9pm. OH and they couldn't even tell me why I was there. I had an outpatient procedure and NOBODY there even knew why I had been admitted. My mother and my significant other called several times trying to get information because I wasn't really supposed to be there but no one knew anything and at one point they even tried to say that I wasn't there! I could honestly go on because there are so many horrible details that I've left out but I'll just leave it at that. This place needs to be closed down.
