One Star

When my dad was there first 3 days were great the nurses and doctors were on top of everything and after that the nurses stop really doing there would be only 1 nurse or 2 and when you call them to get something it would take 1 or 2 and then when my dad came out of ICU and went to a normal room there would be no one there to help when he would ring up a nurse they said they will be there and 1 hour 2 hours 3 hours go by and then they would come but sometimes they would not even come at all there are a ton of nurses there and some of them disappear and you never see them but they did not let my dad take a shower saying he was weak but my father was able to walk a little and move but and lead him to get a infection and I totally understand that there are other people in the hospital but they never come back and they should award have 1 or 2 people up in the front desk to help us whenever someone needs something and I would never go back there if I needed to

My husband was just a number

It took my husband and I seven hours in emergency before he was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia, already had COPD and labored breathing. They administered antibiotics for three days never checking whether the bacteria he received would fight the infection. Two weeks later, pneumonia got even worse and he is being treated in another hospital that administered a broncoscopy to identify the bacteria. It was a waste of money and time for my husband. In addition, it was a weekend and very short staffed.

Unprofessional

I took my adult daughter to the ER yesterday. She has covid, and pneumonia. Her oxygen level was very low and her temp quite high. Her doctor told me to take her to the nearest hospital. I took her into emergency, the woman at the desk told me I had to leave because I was exposed. She was rude, unprofessional, and had that "I could care less" attitude. They took my daughter and shoved her in a room that was icy cold. After almost an hour went by, my daughter called me and said please come and get me, no one has come to check on me. She was crying. She was in excruciating pain and was having difficulty breathing. I went back and picked her up and took her home. Her oxygen level was 86 and her temp 102. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a hospital. When she walked out, the same clerk said "are you leaving"? My daughter said yes. Clerk replied "have a nice day"
