The absolute worst health care facility.

Does not qualify for a star. Horrible patient care. Horrible communication of care plan for patient and their families. Not enough staff to give the care that is needed. Several employees are rude and could care less about their position. During covid 19 the training in information and communication between Dr's, Nurses, patient and family members is a total mess. Very uneducated and unprofessional. ER wait times and cares is the worst I have ever witnessed anywhere. Bottom line. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Covid 19

They are the only hospital not releasing numbers for covid-19 patients. Saunders is the worst CFO they could have.

Rip off!

As a college student with a fever of 102.7 I went to this facility. I actually left another facility that did not take my insurance to go here and wait over 2 hours. When I called they informed me that they took my insurance. I had a strep test and flu test. Was sent away with a prescription. Turns out they weren’t in net work- which I didn’t realize I had to ask - so the bill was $907.00. They were no help in trying to reduce the cost and turned me over to collection. As a college student trying to build my credit I had no choice except to pay them. Maybe not so worried about their patients!!

Don't expect to be treated with respect or dignity.

I would give less than one star if possible. I had a simple procedure done at the Ambulatory Center and was returned from surgery in a humiliating position. I was put in that position by the OR Nurse Elaine Gates. I filed a complaint with the hospital only to receive a letter full of excuses for the violation I experienced, and it did not answers questions that I had asked. To add insult to injury, I had to have yet another procedure done there yesterday and that same nurse, Elaine Gates was assigned to me again. I confronted her about what she had done. By her own admission, she "remembered" me, but thought it was just fine that she would be "caring" for me. Only after insistence by myself and my husband, was another nurse provided. There is a disgusting and prevailing lack of concern for patients' modesty & dignity at this institution. And any level of anxiety you present is met with derision. You are treated like little more that a piece of meat at this center, where things are done to you, not for you.

BAD TRANSPORT

My trip to the hospital for spinal surgery was fine in 2015. The ambulance trip to the rehab was a disaster. the driver, (tall black man with a go-tee,) jumped up a curb injuring me CAUSING A SPINAL FLUID LEAK. AFTER REHAB HE LIED ABOUT IT TO HIS BOSS CAUSING ME A SECOND TRIP TO THE HOSPITAL AFTER REHAB. HIS BOSS TOOK HIS WORD FOR IT. I SPENT THAT EXTRA WEEK IN THE HOSPITAL I SHOULD NOT HAVE NEEDED ALL BECAUSE ONE LIED AND THE OTHER BELIEVED HIM. NEITHER OF THEM ARE QUALIFIED FOR THEIR JOBS. I'M NOT JUDGING THEM BUT I'LL DEFINITELY BE A WITNESS AGAINST THEM ON THAT FINE DAY. JHill

Excellent, Superior, the epitomy of professionalism.

It gives me great pleasure to comment on the services rendered to me commencing 08/02/2018 through 08/08/2018. My initial visit was to the Peach County Navicent Medical Center. The service was impeccable from the doctor on duty to all the nurses, especially Nurse Aleeva. The EMTs kept me relaxed and secure as they transported me to the Macon/Bibb County Navicent Medical Center. At the Macon Navicent Center the service were just as superb. My care takers included Drs. Tarani, Hussein and Spell. ICU Staff Joshua, DeWayne, Erica and Rachel. Everything was explained to me in layman's term. Nothing was ever done without explaining what was being done; how and when. Each time I was given medicine, the name of each medication was announced. I entered the hospital due to an irregular heart beat. I was transported to a regular room on Sunday as great service continued all the way to the stress lab. I will summated this expression of my overview of the services rendered to me at the Navicent Medical Centers by saying: YOU ARE A NUMBER ONE MEDICAL CENTER !!!!!

Labor/delivery family waiting room

This waiting room has to be the most uninviting and uncomfortable that Ive seen. The TV remote has been lost, for who knows how long, it's too loud and can't be lowered. Dirty restroom @3:30am. Not "family oriented" in the least bit.
