This is my 2nd attempt to write this review since the first was not accepted...perhaps because it was not favorable? Anyway, I am most unhappy in that I had a COVID test done 72 hours ago and still have not heard the results although I was told that I would be phoned with said results within that time period or less. Moreover, when I called this morning, I was told via a recording that I should call on Monday...that they were closed. Upon calling the main hospital switchboard, they said I could get a test, but that there would be no results available until the office reopened. Had I known the results were so delayed, I would have gone elsewhere. I have been very pleased with sacred heart in the past so I am quite disappointed.

Poor response

After being tested for COVID 72 hours ago and being told I would be notified within that time period, I have not heard from them. Moreover, when I called just now to inquire, all I got was a recording saying call back on Monday. If I had known the response time was so terrible, I would have gone elsewhere. When I called the main switchboard, no one was helpful. I am very frustrated.heretofore the hospital has been wonderfuL. I am most disappointed.

So great!

My son came in for high fever. The er group concerned me with their experience but when I went to the observation section the nurses were spectacular. They were so sweet and very comforting for my baby 💙💙

Slow, understaffed in the ER.

Not enough ER physicians to be expedient. I am happy this was not a Heart attack. Very slow got past worry if problems because, no word is good. Well, there was no words period. Nurses were nice enough but very inattentive and left me unattended for hours. Only 1 doctor on duty. Hot and muggy the rooms. Will never return to this hospital, unorganized, understaffed, seemingly uncaring. The nurses desk was hit and miss on reaching someone with the help call button. Overall, horrible experience. Would not recommend regardless of the reputation of their children’s hospital or cardiac unit.

billing

Had a procedure done a year ago, they billed incorrectly on coding so insurance will not pay until fixed. Have tried to get it corrected and they still have not corrected. Called doctor office who authorized procedure to redo still not done. Go else where for medical.

Terrible ER

I came in for elevated blood pressure and I was covid positive so I got stuck in a room and was told it would be five to six hours before I'd be seen. 6 hours past and a tech came in and took my blood pressure and it was really elevated they said nothing walked out and I didn't see anyone again so it was nine almost ten hours and I came out and told him I could not wait no longer didn't sign any papers in the lady told me I need to go home and quarantine you would think with elevated blood pressure someone would at least monitor before I could go back but now I sat in a room and still never got seen.

Misplaced patient

A family member was brought to emergency last night, and was signed in by me via text. When I called to inquire about his status this morning, I was told there was no record of him. Turns out he had been discharged and was back at his assisting living facility with his discharge papers. His care at Sacred Heart has been good, but PLEASE do not lose any more patients due to faulty record-keeping.
