I am currently a patient here at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital in The Villages, FL due to be discharged in a couple of days. This is my second stay at this rehab hospital adjusting to new prosthetic equipment. I didn’t think it was possible to improve upon perfection, but I have honestly enjoyed my stay here more the second time around. It is not surprising to me at all that this facility is an award winner. I have stayed at other facilities being a bilateral leg amputee and they all pale in comparison to this rehab hospital. This facility is beautiful, the nurses are wonderful, the CNA’s are very helpful, the therapists are very professional and on top of their game, the entire staff is devoted to the patients. The food is even good with daily choices. The thing I like the best about this hospital is that it is all about the patients. Everyone here works together for a common goal, the patients.
