Hunter Holmes Mcguire Va Medical Center

My father was admitted to the VA on Monday 09/11/23 and I called his appointment for his hearing aids on Tuesday 09/12/23 to inform them that he was in the hospital on the 4th floor, Audio noted the order the time and date (9/14/24 @8:30am). Upon, my arrival to my father's room, I found out that HE HAD NOT been taken down for his appointment. The nurse was on her cellphone texting and didn't know waS standing there, she said she read that he had an appointment and did nothing about it. She told me that she had to contact his team to find out what to do. IN MY OPINION, THAT IS EASY GET HIM HIS HEARING AIDS!! The "team " came into his room and just told me "WE ARE SORRY" The "team" took it upon themselves to reschedule my father's appointment without even talking to me or him. So, my father does not have his hearing aids, but the "team 3" on 4th floor is very sorry. SORRY DOESN'T HELP!!!
