Dr. Matthew Casey, OD

I saw Dr. Casey for an eye exam. I was not pleased with the exam. Dr. Casey informed me that I would not be able to wear contacts or glasses and referred me for cataract evaluation. After seeing another optometrist they evaluated my cataracts using a slit lamp test and determined that my cataracts were not severe enough to require surgery or an evaluation. This second optometrist then prescribed contacts and eye glasses. Dr. Casey was putting the cart before the horse in referring me to another specialist for additional evaluation that was not yet required.
