Alaska Native Medical Center Radiology

Awful. I had an appointment today after being on the road for ten days. Last thing I want to do is to drive to anchorage from big lake. I leave more than early enough. But there is an accident at parks and PWH intersection. That sets me back about 10 minutes. I called imaging and spoke with someone and told the I’d be late- about 10 minutes late- they literally said “ok, will let them know”. So I continue all the way into anchorage and I get there. I check in 12 minutes late- they say they didn’t know I was going to be late, they never got the message. Now they tell me O can’t be seen because I’m 12 minutes late. I drove all the way into town- my wife took work off just to be told I cannot be seen because I was 12 minutes late. How am I supposed to trust these people with my body if I cannot trust them to be decent people or pass along a simple message. Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever seen at a hospital and I was in the Army for 12 years. Avoid this place. They’re garbage.
