Associates MD

Although I very much appreciate the efforts of Dr.Reines and his staff, this Associates group is absolutely impossible to deal with. They will make appts. for you without consulting you and then charge you for not showing up, even turning you over to collection agencies. Despite repeated conversations with them, you don;t even feel that you are dealing with professional people, nothing is ever resolved. While the amt. may be minimal, they will dun you assuming you will just give up and pay. I won't. And I would never return to this facility because of the Association.

Don't use these people. They are uncommunicative, non-responsive and uncooperative. I have had problems getting them to issue referrals, a simple procedure, where they want me to come to their office, and see the doctor, for every one I need. Then, they issue them with zero visits and finally their referrals manager sent me an email that I do not need them. I do. My health care provider, Simply, requires them. Now I have a surgery pending, and have all my clearances except for Associates. They will not even answer their office phone this morning. The surgeon called them today and they would not pick up the phone for them either. How can they just not pick up the phone? If you speak Spanish, your experience may vary. Everyone there is polite, but for some reason or another, unable to accomplish simple tasks. These are not medical issues, they are problems with their office management, but they are causing medical issues. I must now change PCP providers and start the… surgery process all over because of simple incompetence. Surgery I badly need to retain mobility. I would not recommend this useless practice to a yellow dog, let alone another human.
