Since UChicago Medicine AdventHealth took over, this place has gone downhill fast. UChicago took over all billing and claims that the small doctor's office in an old building is suddenly an outpatient surgical center and bills insurance as such. There is no more surgery going on here today than there has been for the last 10-15 years. But thanks to their "creative" invoicing, you will now pay a surgical deductible -- which for most people is significantly more than an office visit. If you want to pay more for the same or less service, then by all means, go here. If you want to be treated fairly and pay an office visit copay, then go to any other asthma/allergist in the area.
