Absolutely do not recommend BMC Oral and MaxilloFacial Surgery Clinic. The entire clinic and system is poorly managed and with no patient consideration. To schedule an appointment for wisdom teeth removal we were directed to call each day at 8am to try and secure a spot THAT day, with no consideration to a patient's outside responsibilities. It wasn't until I had to email the clinic director after having signs of an infection in my gums from getting continuous voicemails when attempting to make an appointment through their ineffective system about the poor service did they prioritize my care. During the first surgery for 2 wisdom teeth removal they were unprepared to the point that they had to extend my novocaine needs that cost extra. Now after scheduling my second surgery for the other 2 wisdom teeth, and after sitting in the waiting room for an hour before being seen, did they tell me in that moment that the drill was not sterilized and they could not see me as well as telling me… that they said I was scheduled for a consultation when I was told by the receptionist it was for surgery. So now that they have taken more time away from my day and taking off from work, do I now need to schedule another day for this surgery again. No one in the clinic is helpful or prompt. Coming from a healthcare background, I understand the stress of busy times and needs. But the patient care at BMC Oral and MaxilloFacial Surgery Clinic is subpar and with no consideration the patient and needs. Anywhere else would be more productive for patients to go to.
