BRIDENT DENTAL & ORTHODONTICS (GENERAL TAJ-705)

If your Handicapable then don’t go here! I made an appointment to get some minor work done but after the x-rats were done and the dentist saw my wheelchair he referred me to a specialist. He just assumed I’d need sedation. But the specialist said that I don’t need sedation just to get a filling and crown fixed . The dentist didn’t bother himself with asking me if I could handle local sedation. He just sends me off to a specialist to deal with me. I get that a specialist would have special chairs or equipment for handicapped clients but I didn’t say I needed any of that. I’m perfectly fine having normal local sedation to have minor dental work done. I was able to get the x-rays done and I was able to transfer into his dental chair so why would he assume I’d need a specialist. It’s aggravating to have people go over my head and make decisions for me. If he would have just asked if I had any special needs I would have said “No thank you, local sedation is fine.” Anyway, I gave up… trying to get that office and dentist to see that I didn’t need a specialist just get one tooth filled and a crown put on. I just took my business to a dentist that wouldn’t see my chair before they saw me.
