Center For Endodontics

Arrived on time for my appointment. Waited 1 full hour with no communication from the staff. At 1 hour I asked to reschedule. The receptionist stated "it is like this everyday, we are emergent based practice." I informed her that I was not having an emergency and was in no pain and if they have other emergencies, I could reschedule. She would not reschedule me and insisted I go back with a staff person. The doctor came in and introduced himself. I was in my nursing uniform and after asking where I worked he asked, "do you run on time every day." The question was confrontational. I told him I had not been upset, I had just asked to reschedule. He then told me he did not appreciate me speaking to the other patients in the waiting room. Which I had not, I had only gestured that if the next patient had emergency, they should be seen and I could reschedule. At the point where the doctor wanted to lecture me for not being more understanding and cooperative after waiting an hour plus, I… walked out. I have never walked out of a doctor's appointment before. The customer service is very poor, no communication regarding wait times or anything else from the office staff. Dr. was confrontational. They should look at the AIDET model of customer service where you provide updates to customers waiting and provide an expectation. Worst experience I have had in a long time.
