Champaign Surgery Center At The Fields

I had the worst experience with the receptionist at 3103 at the Fields. My family and I were in from out of town was told prior to the visit that 3 ppl could be present at the time of my niece’s surgery. When we arrived we were told that only 2 ppl were allowed to stay with her, which wasn’t a problem. My niece’s husband dropped us off at the door while he parked the car. Myself, my niece and her daughter walked in. After being told there could only be 2 ppl in the building we sat and waited on her husband to come in so we could tell him and see if he wanted me to wait in the car or if he would wait in the car. While we were telling him, the receptionist came from behind the desk, and yelled across the room telling us that one of us would need to leave now!!! It wasn’t that we were going to stay we were just trying to figure things out. I love Carle, all my family members come to Carle for our medical care and never have we encountered such rude behavior from any of its staff. I’m not… sure what the ladies name is but she’s the carle receptionist located at 3103 The Fields Carle Surgery Center. The date is March 26th. 2023 time 8:40am.
