Contemporary Dental Associates

In Dec 2022, a hygienist performed a mediocre periodontal maintenance on my 4 quadrants. Insurance sent me the benefit statement showing a $1400.00 charge. My dentist and periodontist, in the past year, charged only $200.00 for the same service. Thus, Contemporary Dental charged 7 times more than my dentists. I am a senior citizen on fixed income and this charge puts me in a bind to pay other dentist who performed other work on my teeth. The $1400 charge is unethical and outrageously beyond any decency. Spoke to two individuals and I was promised the office manager will get back to me. I waited two weeks and called and left another message for manager to call me. Thus far no word from any one. Totally disappointed with such charge and no response.
