Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Endocrinology

Very bad experience with this department. They ignored my symptoms and misdiagnosed me for years. All appointments the last several years were 5 minute telemedicine visits where the audio and video didn’t work, tests were not ordered, results were not reviewed, prescriptions were not called in, etc. For this useless “visit” they bill $600-$700+. I have since switched to a new office where I was diagnosed correctly immediately, given appropriate treatment and followup, prescriptions are never lapsing, and appointments are in person. I would not recommend DHMC to anyone. Their care was completely negligent between the inefficient telemedicine, lapses in prescriptions, no tests within the standard of care and blatant misdiagnosis.

Not happy with their care. I was misdiagnosed by this department for YEARS. Their followups since COVID for the past three years was 100% telemedicine which consisted of a useless 5 minute phone call. No tests within the standard of care, no review of my monitoring. My symptoms were progressing and I had numerous other specialists telling me to contact endocrinology and get it under control but my provider did absolutely nothing. I was given no plan of care at all. It was a terrible negligent experience. Dartmouth will now copy and paste a message as they do to every low star review telling us to contact patient relations. I did that. They do absolutely nothing to help.
