Dr Dental of Stratford PC - GP

I currently have a failed root canal and severe infection causing my face to swell and my jaw to lock. The dentist now refuses to release my medical records and has stated I am not allowed to come in the office for help or pain relief.

I brought my son into this office on 4/2. We normally go to the Derby location but they never seemed to have a dentist available because no one was showing up for work, so we ended up at the Stratford location. They never asked us to update our information even though we had not been to their office for 3+ years. I thought the Dr Dental computers were connected and they must have had my updated information. To my dismay about 6 months after my son’s visit I get a bill from collections for Sealants they did on my son’s teeth without my consent. I found out through talking to their office and my insurance that they sealed 15 of my 14 year olds teeth!! My insurance covered 8 of those teeth but now I am being stuck with the bill for the other 7 teeth that I never agreed for them to seal. My child has never had a cavity or had any issues where sealing these teeth were needed for preventive care. I have spoke to the office many times and I am told they will call me back and handle it. No one… ever returns my calls. It is scary to think they can just do whatever they want back there and I am stuck paying the bill. Horrible experience. I have now switched dentists. Even before this happened when I left their office on 4/2 I knew I was switching. The front desk was awful. We never spoke to the dentist and there was no heat in the waiting room and it was freezing that day. Not to mention it looked like a construction zone with stained cement floors, unpainted cinder blocks, and dilapidated furniture. All around an awful experience.
