I went for a colonscopy on 12/29/25. I took off all my clothing, as instructed and put on the hospital socks, johnnie and wrapped from waist down in a blanket. I already had an IV in the back of my hand which was quite sore since it took two attempts to do it. Then the fire alarm went off!!! Two of us ladies were told to go out in the rain and walk across the parking lot to a parking spot. I was tethered to my nurse with my IV. I had no shoes so I slopped over in my wet socks. We were out there in the drizzle from 11:20-12:00. I was told by a nurse that this happens about once a year. Why don't they straighten out this issue or at LEAST keep a small tent by the door so as to cover patients. There were also 2 ladies who got wheeled out in their beds, still asleep. I cannot say that I am over this experience. Also, my husband had obeyed the sign in the waiting room that said my ride could not wait in the building so he went and ran errands. No chance of sitting in our vehicle. Very… poorly handled.

An excellent experience from reception to recovery. The entire staff was pleasant and informative.
