Dr. Thomas Walsh DO was my doctor 4 years. I had just had surgery; pain, swelling, oozing, bruises & ~ 4 ft of stitches. I called 5 days before to cancel appt. due to pain & to request my maintenance medications. One of my prescriptions is a controlled substance. I believed it was the reason I had to come in every 3 mos. I told Jenna that I could skip it; she said I wouldn't get any refills at all w/o coming in. The harsh, compassionless response just floored me. She transferred me to Yoanna, Dr. Tom’s nurse. I left a message, probably tainted with the outrage I felt. Next thing I know I am talking with Mick, new office manager; a real thug, enforcer, iron fist who told me if I would not comply with their policies, I wasn't welcome there. How did this escalate out of proportion so fast? I asked to see Dr. Tom once more. He told me that was NOT going to happen then hung up on me. What? I wasn’t even offered a phone consultation. Dr. Tom, was my request commensurate with my punishment?
