Dr. Frank Venzara, III is truly a gifted retina surgeon who gave me hope after multiple failed surgeries. I had gone through three unsuccessful retina surgeries with another doctor who told me I was part of a rare 4% with no treatment options. My retina was left in poor condition—a loose buckle, unremoved scar tissue, and not enough silicone oil to protect the eye. I was devastated. Then I found Dr. Venzara. He was thorough, kind, and honest. He immediately identified the problems and performed a complex surgery that lasted over 2.5 hours. Since that surgery in September, my retina has remained attached.
