When presented with photographic proof, chart entries, and third-party confirmation from another board-certified surgeon, Dr. Smart and his team ignored every opportunity to resolve this discreetly. As of May 14, 2025, the Texas Medical Board has formally accepted my complaint and referred it to an investigator. Dr. Smart is also under active review by The Aesthetic Society. This is no longer just a patient dispute—it’s under institutional review. What happened to my wife wasn’t a misunderstanding. It was surgical misconduct.
