I experienced unprofessional and dismissive treatment at Inspired Psychiatric Care. Elizabeth Blanchard Hills, PMHNP-BC, terminated my care and blocked my access to medical records simply because I questioned a duplicate billing charge. This action took place just 12 days before my next scheduled appointment and as I was running out of necessary medication, leaving me in a precarious situation. The clinic’s response was abrupt and punitive rather than patient-centered.
Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I’ve been met with silence. No one from the clinic has returned my calls or provided any explanation for their actions. Blocking access to essential medical records not only disrupts continuity of care but also feels retaliatory, especially considering that patient rights under HIPAA include access to these records. Their administrative policies seem to prioritize billing concerns over patient welfare and ethical responsibility.
The lack of transparency and support has caused… significant stress, highlighting a concerning disregard for patient well-being. Clinics and providers must be accountable to the patients they serve, particularly when it comes to the responsible handling of medical records and the continuity of care. Inspired Psychiatric Care has fallen short in these areas, and I would not recommend this practice to anyone seeking a reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused mental health provider.
