I have had similar issues as this other review when it comes to my medicine refills going to the wrong place (even after updating the pharmacy in the app and with my doctors several times), cancelled appointments without being told (yup, showed up to that appointment 45min away), and not having a positive experience with a doctor or her staff so I wanted to switch...which Laureate requires a "transfer form" to e completed. I had to do this three times, because the doctor they kept transferring me to kept leaving the practice but I was never notified until too late. But the doctor I had a negative experience with has to approve the transfer before I can switch. I finally found someone that worked out great, but now I am no longer allowed to see her, have to complete transfer paperwork again, and I still can't see her? I have been yelled at and hung up on by office or 3rd party staff, I have been spoken over, even when I am clarifying my question. Even with some good doctors there, most… are not taking new patients. if you find a doctor taking new patients, the turnover of providers is high, and you'll likely be dumped on someone else. It's been shy of 3yrs, and all of this had happened in that time frame. Im just not sure there's care that is worth this frustration on any count.
Read MoreThe Laureate Medical staff is less than compentent. It appears that the refill team is outsourced, working from home and simply do not care. I realized that their lack of compassoon stems from the overall culture of the Laureate Medical (from the top down). I have medication that I can not missed and I had to call multiple times to have it sent to the correct pharmacy. I spoke with two of the managers and they were just as dismisive. I sent an email to the CEO of the Laurete Medical Group and I never received a response from her or not even an admistrative assistant. I was already on the fence about continuing to see the doctor and to my surprise, the doctor sent a letter saying they could not see me again. Instead of asking their employees to treat patients with more respect and care, this is the road that they took. This was just the latest incident. There are not enough characters to go into detail about the cancelled appointments with other physicians in the group, due to… their lack of planning or the cancellations due booking the wrong service slot. If you have a choice, look further.
