I was told that I’d see one of the many doctors I had had appointments with during my pregnancy who was on call that day, but ended up getting assigned a visiting physician with their practice. This physician had ZERO bedside manner. She barely acknowledged me upon meeting and was unapologetically rude to the nursing staff in front of me. While I understand that doctors typically won’t be in attendance during the entirety of labor, this doctor WAS ABSENT for the majority of the time that I was in labor and was LITERALLY TEXTING, paying zero attention to me while I was in active labor. I
