This place is neglectful at best. It is a dangerous place to be. If you have any options, do not send someone you care about here. They will receive no help at best and probably be abused in some way. This place needs to be investigated. The drugging of patients causes them to diminish quickly and severely. The place is unsafe at best, but it truly is criminal if a private citizen was to treat a person in this way they would be sent to jail. I'm still in shock that this place is allowed to operate. If you place a dementia patient here, know they will be put in with psychotics, incapacitated with medication and be sitting in their own urine. This is the best scenario. I was there for one week and saw three people injured and their concern was to make up a story to cover their neglect before calling help. They returned all three people that were quite brutally injured to the exact situation that injured them. I don't think I will ever be able to come to terms with the fact that this… place is allowed to operate. This is a place of torture not of healing.
