Metropolitan Neurology

Had a 1:30 pm appt. with Dr. Gerstle today. Waited 35 minutes and then was told my a man who had a 1:15 appt. that Dr. Gerstle was NOT EVEN IN THE OFFICE FOR HER APPOINTMENTS. No emergency! Was told she was out doing rounds in the hospital. Seems to be a recurring problem for this office. Two other people in the waiting room said that Dr. comes to the office after her rounds. HOW RUDE!! Dr. Gerstle does not imo care about that she makes patients wait hours to see her after their scheduled appointment. Her office staff has now posted a sign in the waiting room not to take it out on them because so many people are upset about the Dr.'s practice!! She is in violation of Florida Statute 381.026(4) (4) which provides that "Each health care facility or provider shall observe the following standards: (a) Individual dignity.— 1. The individual dignity of a patient must be respected at all times and upon all occasions." Gerstle shows a total lack of respect for her patients' time… and dignity!!! What a jerk!
