Joseph Raviv is a dangerous criminal. He will do unneeded surgeries on patients for profit, and bill your insurances for procedures that were never performed. In my case, all I needed (and consented to) was an endoscopic sinus surgery. This is where the surgery widens the sinus passages to promote better drainage. However, when I was sedated, he threw in an unnecessary septoplasty that cut off airflow on the right side of my nose. For people reading this, I have included X-Ray images of the inside of my nose, BEFORE and AFTER my surgery with him. THE IMAGES CAN BE SEEN ON HIS YELP PROFILE. When I told him my breathing was worse, he told me he wouldn't be able to perform the revision septoplasty (make the septum the way it was before surgery). This doctor's greed and negligence has resulted in me experiencing constant breathing and sleep problems. Because I can't breathe out… of my nose properly, I do not sleep right. I am then exhausted all day, and cannot function. And this is what I will have to deal with the rest of my life. And rather than apologizing or trying to remedy the situation, this coward went to a lawyer, and then the Northbrook police as soon as I started talking about my experience online, all in an attempt to silence me from speaking.
