Pediatrix Medical Group

I had a baby and my newborn was seen by Pediatrix in the hospital. Pediatrix has refused to bill my insurance for 6+ months for the balance. They have threatened to send me to collections and have harassed my family. I have given them my insurance information, a copy of my insurance card and a copy of my coverage letter. They have still refused to bill my insurance stating that I have not given them enough information. They refuse to let me speak to their billing dept and they refuse to contact UHC. UHC has contacted them multiple times for me but they are met with an answering machine and no return call. This place has illegal billing practices and no customer service. They are a scam. Do NOT use this business unless you want to pay for all medical services out of pocket!
