Plaza Lane Optometry

My most recent visit was disappointing at Plaza Lane Optometry. I have been a client for more than 20 years. The staff person made me feel like she was doing me a favor and she repeated “I am making an exception here” to correct my prescription which was their error to begin with. My last exam visit was with Dr Faborrow (sp?) before he sold his practice. I have not met the new doctors so I can’t speak about their work. The front desk is wonderful but the lady assisting me with my prescription could use a little more training In customer service. She had an attitude. I found myself trying to be friendly. She was not warm at all. She used statements like “I will help you this time but I don’t usually do this adjustments past the point of guarantee. The next time you will have to pay to correct the problem on your prescription.” My family and I pay good money for the service and for the expensive prescription frames we get at this clinic. I decided not to come back.
