Summit Orthopedics Lakeville is currently under investigation by the fraud department of Humana (Medicare) for having me see two "specialists" at $492 apiece billed to insurance (the first appointment seemed wholely unnecessary), telling me they would help me with a procedure, seeing a second "specialist" about the procedure, and the telling me oops, your insurance doesn't cover it and tried to get me to purchase physical therapy, which the second doctor even acknowledged would do nothing as it doesn't address the cause of pain. I'm also left with a bill for an MRI , my portion after insurance, for nearly $200. I received NOTHING and lost much time, money (copay), and mental peace. I will be seeking a civil suit.
