I went with my husband to Heart House and love that the heart Drs now have NPs that assist with patients. We loved Jackie, a NP for Dr Leavy who took time to answer our many questions. She was pleasant, knowledgeable about patient history and patiently answered our many questions.
Love the doctors, but the lack of caring by staff finally forced my decision to switch to another provider. I had never dealt with an office that has NEVER returned a phone call. Now I have. And I am switching to another cardiologist office.

I get nothing but the best possible care . My dr is Dr. Deborah A Sambucci, DO. I go to the one in marlton at 999 Rte 73 in marlton
Vitals does not allow you to delete or revise reviews, so I am leaving a second review as a follow-up to the one I left on July 6th, 2023. Update 7/11/23: After several negative experiences with Heart House, I nearly gave up on them, but decided to give them one last shot before seeking another practice. Marissa at the front desk was instrumental in rectifiying all previous disappointments. She was able to quickly get me scheduled with Nurse Practioner Jackie, as well as electrocardiologist Dr. Mark, for a second opinion. Both Nurse Jackie and Dr. Mark were just what I needed. They were thorough, thoughtful and most importantly, they were well-versed in my history and took the time to really explain things and put my mind at ease. Thank you Marissa, Nurse Jackie and Dr. Mark for your efforts and expertise. I do want to add that Dr. Palermo is also a great cardiologist. However, if you're in need of an "electrician", Nurse Jackie and Dr. Mark are top notch. I now have a team at Heart… House that I feel good about and would highly recommend these specific practitioners.
Read MoreI have had several negative experiences at both the Haddon Heights and Marlton locations, and can say with certainty that the service at Heart House is poor at best, negligent at worst. Here is a run-down of my most recent experiences there: 1) May 2023 - Nurse Practitioner Nayleen was condescending, dismissive and rude, would not allow me to explain my symptoms without interruption. Did not feel heard. Unhappy with appointment overall. 2) 5/31 - was fitted with a faulty 2-week continuous monitor, requested a new device during my appointment, was given the runaround and ended up stuck with a monitor that only worked as designed part of the time. When I addressed my concerns with the female manager over the phone (Haddonfield office), she did not feel the need to give me a new monitor and told me that it wasn't necessary to capture specific episodes (which turned out to be untrue). She convinced me to keep using the faulty monitor. As such, I was unable to document multiple irregular… heart episodes that could have been useful data. 3) 6/19 - saw Dr. Levi, who was a full hour late for my appointment with no apology, and who walked into the patient room without any knowledge whatsoever of my history. He wasn't even aware that I had been wearing a 2-week heart monitor and therefore had no knowledge about what the results were. When I informed him, he quickly scanned the "tape" and begain discussing a surgical procedure as I sat there confused because he hadn't even mentioned a diagnosis before launching into a surgical pitch. 4) 6/19 - since I refused to agree to a surgical procedure pitched by a doctor who clearly had not spent more than 2 minutes reviewing my case, Dr Levi prescribed a medication and during checkout I was assured that the prescription had been called into my pharmacy. 5) 6/30 - pharmacy had not received my prescription so my husband called Heart House and left them a message urging them to call in my prescription. 6) 7/5 - my pharmacy confirmed that they still had not received the prescription from Heart House. 7) 7/6 - 9am called Heart House to inquire about my prescription, the nurse said they would call it in. When I asked WHY it had not been called in yet, even after my husband left a message, her response was "I don't know, I'm sorry". When I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, she assured me that she would have Kathy Shook, Technician Manager, call me right back. It is now 4 hours later and I have not heard from Kathy or anyone else from Heart House. 8) 7/6 - 1:30 unable to get a live person on the phone to ask for copies of my records to be prepared as I am absolutely done with Heart House and would NEVER recommend them to anyone that I care about.
