Ubmd Internal Medicine Sleep Medicine

Over a year ago I was referred to UBMD for sleep issues. From that referral I waited at least 4 months for my initial apt. Once seen, I was given a referral for an overnight sleep study, which was then denied by my insurance as it lacked the supporting at-home preliminary study. Then, I was not able to reach my UBMD physician (I left two voicemail messages, there where never returned) to have them place the new order. Eventually I got the at home study ordered by my primary doctor, but when calling UBMD to follow up from the results of that study, they order a CPAP study that was denied by insurance again! When I again contacted UBMD to rectify the request, they told me I had to wait for my follow up apt a month away. On arriving to that apt, they refused to see me as I was 20 minutes late. (I called ahead, as I was stuck behind an accident). So after a year of struggling with my sleep, I am still waiting for treatment. I have decided to seek another provider.
